FLUOROGOLD庐 Slide Bearings are made from a special formulation of PTFE (Teflon庐) that is re-informed with a glass fiber aggregate. This provides a structural material that has significant compressive strength without cold flow, yet retains the low friction (.06) and chemically inert characteristics of unfilled PTFE.

A standard assembly is 3/32" teflon庐 bonded to 1/8" thick carbon steel. The designation that often appears on shop drawings is FC-1010-CS. This designation will vary if the Slide Bearing steel plate is stainless steel or if the thickness changes. The combination of PTFE and a structural substrate creates a highly efficient Teflon sliding plate for use in construction and machinery.

All other configurations can be made to order, including thick carbon steel plates, stainless steel and even commercial grade rubber (see Fig. 1. below)
